Petra to Wadi Rum shared transfer

The classic backpacker route. The 100 km drive from Wadi Musa to the Wadi Rum visitor centre takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours along the Desert Highway. A shared seat is 20 JD per person. Bring a scarf - it gets dusty once you cross into the protected area.

Petra to Amman & Queen Alia Airport

The fastest way back to the capital. Amman city is around 3 to 3.5 hours from Petra at 30 JD per seat; Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) is slightly closer at 40 JD per seat. Departures are timed so you can comfortably catch evening flights.

Petra to Aqaba & the Red Sea

Heading south for the beach or the ferry to Egypt? Petra to Aqaba is about 2 hours and just 15 JD per shared seat - the cheapest way to get to the Red Sea coast without a rental car.

Petra to the Dead Sea & Madaba
